I am a dyed in the wool Jonn Serrie fan and have every one of his albums, most of which I play over and over, especially "And the Stars Go with You", "Tingri", "Century Seasons" and "Ixlandia". Jonn's latest release "Dream Journeys" is a pleasant enough album but it lacks a sense of textural richness that his others albums have in such abundance. Jonn is one of those artists who is able to create music that is both timeless and infinitely luxurious.

This album, however, feels unfinished. The music is utilized as the background for two Tai Chi videos with David Carradine who is so weird when he glares into the camera with that wild look in his eyes that I cannot watch them. So I bought the soundtrack instead. Alas, this CD has only two songs on it that I enjoy and they are #2 Summer Dreamer and #4. Messengers. Song #1 Native Seasons is remindful of his conflicting messages of space music combined with native American vibes on his CD "Spirit Keepers".

Hopefully, his new album "Lumia Nights" to be released in October, 2001 will bring a return of Jonn's awesome star travel music in all its mystery.

Tracklisting:
1. Native Seasons (6:08)

3. Winds of Change (19:00)
4. Messengers (15:27)

Total Time: 59:31
